I never paid attention to discussions about the movie cuz I assumed it was about that stupid anime with the bald ninja guy..lol, then I saw this trailer I was like :wtf:
I think the visuals and look incredible, but I'm afraid that the story is going to be really lame.

For sure, I'm tired of the usual weak ass hollywood piece of movie with two A-list actors acting out some police drama or guy-meets-girl eyesores.

To a certain extent. Jurassic Park would have never been as epic, awesome, or successful if it weren't for CGI. Too many directors lean on CGI to make up for the lack of a story, see GI-Joe/Matrix Revolutions/Transformers 2/etc.

Jurassic Park had a plot, bad acting, and did not deserve any sequels. The book was bad too.
It was a movie for the 6 to 12 year olds to see dinosaurs and hardly a cinematic masterpiece.

If you say so. Being the twelfth highest grossing movie of all time, winning 3 Oscars, it must be horrible. I was 6 years old when I saw it for the first time, so I'm a little biased.

Already downloaded it, watching on it here was ok but really needs to be seen in the theaters, plot is so so, but overall the action scenes are really intense

I think the spaceship and mecha CGI looks cool...but those aliens just look ing ridiculous and unrealistic. Some of the dialogue sounds pretty cheesy as well. The movie still looks intriguing, and its getting good reviews...I might go see it.
