This party really stands apart from their other events. It was so well produced and such a great vibe!!

Since I'm new to SoCal and haven't been to a massive before, do you guys know if Nocturnal has stage setups as epic as EDC? Or is it like EDC's little brother and not quite as impressive?
All of the videos I've seen from this year's EDC look incredible. I'd LOVE to see Markus and Ferry with the same stage A&B and Armin had. |

| I would definitely say it is EDC's little sister BUT in no way would i say that it is by any means a lesser event. The side stages will be in better locations than EDC's (in my opinion) and if the main is on the race track it'll be just be a less epic coliseum but ing epic none the less. Nocturnal is my personal favorite. HUGE PRODUCTION |

its about half the amount of ppl than edc (40-50k). not as packed as monster/tao/edc, but still great nonetheless. they have a buncha warehouses there (gets pretty hot up in there) and usually a tent (not all outdoors like edc), and hopefully they use the race track like last year (which is outdoors). nocturnal 2009 was my favorite massive last year, not a cluster like others, and ferry ripped it. tons of free parking around local plazas too! |

I agree but i also say they cant be compared. this even is just so different!
To me EDC and TAO get so over sold and are so close to town that you just have anyone and everyone coming.
For this its a little smaller but the vibe is so much better |

My top pick would be W&W. Though tech-trance in general needs to be booked more. Its the trance everyone says they want - least vocals, harder beats, etc. but no one books. It worked with John O'Callaghan for the mainstream but that is because the one track that made him big HAD vocals haha. Sad but hopefully tech-trance gets booked for a massive with Insomniac soon. They had Yoji but hes different. |

Nah I'd be flying into LAX. Its just I was looking to get a flight in a few hours before, hit some bars in downtown, go to Nocturnal, then jump back on a plane within an hour or two of the end. Sorry I'm spoiled. |
