Will be interesting to watch the undercovers try to do their job in a crowded tent. should be much harder for them. i see them a lot in the transition areas (e.g. last year at noc on way from track to bathroom, I kept seeing a cute girl asking guys for e - something was a little bit off - she lacked the proper spacey temperment and there were stationary guys with earpieces watching her from the sidelines - and on my return trip to venue, I saw her saying some thing chatting up different guys over and over). i think the crowd itself is too public for them and too time consuming (they have to stand in a crowd).
although they say strangers have the best candy, one should never be a stranger to strangers! (so to speak...)
ah, hem, set times pleeeease! |

I don't do E, so I'm not worried about it, but isn't it entrapment if you send somebody out there asking for the drug? Legally, wouldn't they have to be offered the drug rather than ask for it? Unless it's Insomniac security rather than police, then I guess they can do what they want.
I wanna see this map! I need to know where the VIP drink areas are so I can hit them up immediately.
Also, I want to buy a t-shirt but don't want to carry it around all day. What ever will I do? |

From what I understand, an undercover will ask you for pills, and if you sell it to them you're not in trouble. However, I assume, the s with earphones on the sideline will then be on to you, and when they catch you making another sale (assuming you're a dealer), thats when they go after you. Just avoid anyone asking for drugs. |

| idk much about entrapment defense and the like, although I think it's often much more difficult to assert than the movies/tv lead you to believe. regardless, i like trying to spot their set ups. sometimes you get front row cops style entertainment incl. in the price of ur txt. |

Ok, so here's the map:

Am I reading this correctly that the house stage has 2 VIP areas, but no other stages have any? If I have VIP, can I get free vodka/beer/water at non-VIP bars or will I have to leave the Labyrinth every time I want to get a drink?
Also, where's the buffet gonna be? I assume the one by the entrance?
Sorry about all the questions, but I'm new to this, being my first massive and all. I CANNOT WAIT TO PARTY AHHHHH! |

At EDC 2007, my sister-in-law's friend was busted for E. These 2 skanky white girls approached them (wearing tutus, bras, candy bracelets, the whole bit)... they pretended to be rolling already. The girls spent a good 10 minutes talking to them and the guys ended up selling them pills. The girls thanked them for the pills by giving them these beaded necklaces.
That was a flag for undercover to go in and bust them.
Their hearing is next month (gotta love how speedy the justice system is), I'll let you know it turns out. |
