I've seen the man multiple times, granted some of his sets have been hit or miss. But when he's on his A-game he brings ENERGY and you cant tell me the man isnt extremely passionate about what he does. His mixing may not be world class but his track selection and programming always make for a great show! I think some of you will be pleasently surprised. FCUK THE HATERS
we are not hating for what he has done for the scene or some of the good songs he has made. we are putting him down for not keeping up with his name when he is DJing. hit or miss? mostly miss.

like i said, he has his moments, but sometimes... EESH. Anyone remember LoveFest 2008? his set not only got me hyped up, it killed my buzz too.

I agree, ATB has obviously done a lot for the scene, and I have seen him throw down great sets, but I have also seen his not so good sets. But I pray, that he doesn't play that Eminem song, or any rock songs for that matter. To be honest, most of the crowd is going to be so ****ed up that they're not going to notice a train wreck, but hopefully he sticks to EDM throughout his set.
In terms of order, I agree, Markus, and then Ferry should close out the night.

ATB will hopefully play super early cuz no one wants to see him. Even crap dj's play a good set sometimes, but Eminem remixes belong together with Lil' Jon tirades and Will.i.am sets at coachella.
Anyone think there's a chance they'll move it back indoors? Dead 15 yo = less teenbopper attendees = smaller crowd = indoor main stage = better acoustics? Prolly wishful thinking huh? Just curious if anyone happens to think there's a chance it moves indoors again.

We arent bashing ATB for what he has done to the scene. He has helped it grow for sure and helped to connect electronic music with the mainstream. We bash his booking here and at other events cause.. quite frankly... guy sucks. He cant dj for . His track slsection is terrible. He is offbeat when mixing. Basically, he is a producer and not a dj by any means. Sure for many in the djmag polls this means , but on here, TA, and other boards, we call that out. It isnt enjoyable to hear tracks you like or used to like when the producer cant dj at all and cant plan a proper set. Just read reviews on his performance at Electric Zoo to confirm what we are saying here. Basically, it is clear that Insomniac used his booking as a name rather than a talent. Happens all too often.

He played a great set when I saw him @ rain.

I hope it stays OUTSIDE. So there will be more room and a lot cooler. It gets way to hot inside!

he always plays ecstasy and 9pm til i come. he'll play let u go once in awhile, i saw him at heat..he opened with 'let u go' lyrics and then it went into his typical intro of ecstasy..and then closed with let u go. not really a big fan of 'what about us' or 'my everything'..lil too fast for me. i would love it if he played 'its a fine day' and 'my saving grace'...that would make me a happy camper.
