Damn that track from Budapest is awesome! I was hoping someone was gonna post up tracks from his set. Thank you =). Whenever you figure out the ids please let me know too! Each track Markus belted out felt like an anthem. You could just feel the energy in the crowd during his set- everyone was soo into the music and nothing else. It felt great being a part of that crowd i tells ya.

I gotta say, although ferrys set wasn't as hard as Markus, I respect how his style is always different from everyone elses. In fact, I thought his set was a perfect way to end the night. It added a magical touch, going hand in hand with the theme of the festival. The guys always gonna be a pioneer. And Minack sounds incredible on booming speakers =D

Both of those are Alice's House. It was supposed to be the Labyrinth until it was changed last minute for some reason. And that's what we've been saying about the visuals. The visuals on the sides and the lasers and all, it was kinda trippy at times (note: I was sober). And all the visuals were VERY BRIGHT. It was pretty awesome. Plus they had decent kryo shots onto the front of the crowd and everything.

First off this was the best massive i have ever been to, EDC does not even compare to this one.

I'll list the good and bad from my nocturnal experience:

The GOOD

1. Entrance - I got in there so quick! From the will call desk to the VIP entrance, basically no line-ups!

2. Proximity - The tents, rides, and VIP areas were well located, so close to each other, made going from one venue to the next quite fast.

3. VIP Areas - the VIP lounge had great food and drinks. The VIP area in Alice's House was the awesome, not crowded and they served drinks.

4. Alice's House - Best Tent setup ever, in fact I left the labyrinth during ATB's laughable set, and came over to Alice's House, it was so great I got carried away and didn't come back to Labyrinth for Ferry's set. Steve Angello and Eddie Halliwell were phenomenal,

5. Markus Schulz - this guy blew me away! every song on his set was mind-blowing, i was definitely sad to see him go!

6. Rides - These rides really made the experience much cooler!

7. Raver Girls - Most beautiful raver girls ever, so many of them everywhere, and they're quite nice too.

8. The People - Although most were young kids, they were well behaved for a massive. There were a few ppl laying on the ground though, almost stepped on a few, lol.

The BAD

1. ATB - The beginning of his set was amazing, as he progressed, he kept playing 9pm sample every 15 minutes, which was damn annoying, he played katy perry teenage dream and rage against the machine, he also talked too much on the mic and even sang a whole song at one point.
I've never seen or heard an ATB set in my life, but this was by far the worse set ever, even basic skills like beat matching was way off!
It got so bad that i left when he was playing rage against the machine,

2. Heat Factor (inside labyrinth) - Like most ppl are stating, the labyrinth tent was way too hot, felt like sauna in there literally (ie. tons of guys with their shirts off, rubbing their sweat on you). The front of the stage where i was, there was way too many people, therefore people pushing and rubbing sweat on you.

3. Labyrinth - I felt the sound wasn't loud for a tent that size. There were far too little performers on stage compared to Alice's House. no VIP areas in this tent meant no special treatment for VIP guests inside. The light show was very poor, and the stage lacked any excitement, overall it was OK for me.

4. Security - Although security was necessary for this type of massive, I didn't like getting felt up in certain areas. Didn't like the security pointing their flash light on certain individuals, and making a big scene taking them out of the tent. it was a good thing it happened during the ATB set, otherwise I'd be more pissed.

Overall more good than bad, and I would definitely come back next year! Hopefully Insomniac makes the stage like the house stage for both trance and house tents!

i have a video of him singing because i couldnt help myself..not going to post it because he's a millionaire and i'm not..but nonetheless the set started great and turned bad very quickly.

after some further thought and viewing of my videos..i think it's safe to say markus schulz' set last night was the best dj set i've ever heard. i've heard PLENTY of trance dj's and last night just took the cake. previous best set was ferry at nocturnal last year.

im trying to peace the set together, so if i'm missing anything please help.

can someone please fill me in about dusty kid?
was really looking forward to his set, and went to the stage he was supposed to be at to find trance djs on? Then went to alice's house, and he wasn't on either. Did he not show up or something?

I know that Tritonal ended up taking his slot at 5:25 in Queens ground. They got to play about an hour set. Not sure if Dusty Kid showed up later or not..

Tritonal got to play 2 sets! I caught both em, got in at about 230. Fastest i've ever gotten into an event! Also got a signed cd from Tritonal =)
