I gotta say that 9pm (till I come) was the reason why I started listening to trance - that guitar riff from the sythesiser was a novel sound during the late 90's and I just couldn't stop listening to it. So I respect the guy for opening my ears to EDM, even though the one time I saw him in 05' at Spundae/Circus, he was shockingly bad.

I am just hoping he can maintain a decent vibe and I'll be happy.

Ahh damnit, I was hoping that wasn't the case because that space is huge. I did get that pic from the Noc website where it provides pics and info on the NOS center, so hopefully that's an indication that they're going to use the racetrack. If they posted up a picture of an area that isn't even going to be used, that's just plain silly.

Insomniac will always be dedicated to pushing your overall festival experiences to new heights. We strive to present you a new journey each time you attend our festivals. Every event is a chance for us to try new ideas and share new visions with you. While we sometimes return to familiar venues, our goal is always transform that space into a brand new world so that you can experience each event as if it were your first time there.

Living up to the Insomniac name, literally, we have worked many days and sleepless nights to bring you Nocturnal Festival 2010. This is 16th time we have done so. Each stage has been carefully re-thought and re-worked. Words cannot do justice for what is planned, but we will tease you with a few sneak peaks over the next week.

We know rumors have been floating around that the raceway will not be used for the Labyrinth stage this year. This rumor is true. Why? Because what we have planned for this year's festival is just too massive to fit into the raceway!

The Labyrinth will feature an enormous two-story structure that will house both the stage and the entire crowd. This is the largest temporary structure ever used at any festival in North America! It's being trucked in all the way from New York! Standing at a staggering 55 feet tall with over 100,000 square feet of space, the Labyrinth will hold a stage setup loaded with state of the art lighting, sound, and all kinds of new tricks we'll unleash on you throughout the evening! The second story wraparound balcony will offer a unique perspective over the entire enclosure for the VIP cabanas.

This amazingly uncommon structure is built in a way that allows us bring more production overhead throughout the whole room, helping to create a fully encompassing world, instead of just a stage. It's all about the 360 degree experience! The new Labyrinth will be situated in NOS's Carnival Lot. A brand new area that has never been used before.

This is just one of the many commitments we have made to improving your journey throughout Nocturnal Festival. We are beyond excited for this new addition. Keep checking in for more info on the new things we have in store for you at this year's event!

THIS SOUNDS AWESOME!

Look at the bright side. Acoustics should be better than open air AND hot is better than cold given the crowd's general state of mind.

I totally agree. The sound will be so much better, especially the bass. At first, I thought the speedtrack was ideal to accomadate everyone, but was afraid the sound would be drowned out by the open air, but now the main stage is going to be in a giant two story dome.. are you freakin kidding me? This is soo sickkk! One more week. Can y'll feel it??? One more week! 18+, parking won't be a bitch like EDC ($60!) and best production of all festivals (so I've heard). First time at Noc for me, I feel damn lucky =D
