There is tons of info on youtube about M Theroy but I just don't have the energy for it now.
Not enough Hawkin conversation for my taste but this seems to be a GREAT new journey for M Theory to be fully tested and this M Theory could be the Theory of everything (The Grand Design) that Einstein searched for.
The basic idea of string theory is that the fundamental constituents of matter are very tiny small pieces of string and that different vibrations of these strings that correspond to different elementary particles. So if the string vibrates in one way it will be electron if it vibrates another way it will be a proton if it vibrates another way it might correspond to gravity. So in this way all the strings Theory and these bits of string would unify all the elementary particles we observe could into a singular framework.
