I hate when people make those kinds of arguments. It's like the Yankees fans who babble on about how many rings they have. The past is the past. The Lakers aren't nearly as good this year as they were last year, and I think even Lakers fans are coming to realize it at this point. |

Well, I guess you're right, that by now in the season people should have curbed their enthusiasm for them a bit.
That said, if teams from NYC, Boston, Philly, or LA are even halfway decent, the media will make them sound incredible because of viewership ratings.
Seriously, a MEM/OKC vs. ATL finals is the media's worst nightmare right now. :P |

As an owner of a professional team, I have zero problems with him. I mean, what do I care who owns the Mavs?
