Lebron hasn't been acting like a champion in the Finals. But I support him, because I know he has it in him. I don't throw him under the bus when everyone else does. |
I'm not wishing ill-will on Lebron. I simply stated that I don't think he deserves to win a title this year, because he has shown that he doesn't have the mental edge to win a title.

Changing your mind on who you support when a player is playing poorly is stupid. |
See previous response. It's not that he's playing poorly, it's that he lacks mental toughness.

Dirk is an amazing player, and me and Jeff van Gundy both want a DVD of every shot Dirk has ever taken, because it's an art form. He makes it look easy, and he's clutch to boot. That doesn't mean I'm suddenly going to start cheering for him when I've been supporting the other team the whole time. |
Suddenly started supporting Dirk? That's news to me.

Listen, Stephen, don't get me wrong. You're a cool guy sometimes. But I think you are bandwagoning here. If you're going to follow a sport, follow it. Not just during the playoffs. Pick a team and stick with them. |
Why would I follow the sport during the regular season when I find regular season play boring? I enjoy watching the playoffs, which is why that's the only time I watch. |

my thoughts right about the Finals.
Miami: Some how they coasted thru the playoffs. They played good offense or defense. I even believed if they stayed at the level they were playing at, especially with 3 great players most can name and a with their decent role players, haslem, miller, etc they would pull it out. Somehow when they got to these Finals starting in Miami they took their home court for granted. We won 1 and everyone is happy so lets just put on the cruise control. Well they ran out of gas.
I won't put all my money on Miami running out of heat why they are down 3-2. I will look at this as blaming Lebron James. My reason is he was already in the Finals and lostto the Spurs with a sweep and he was the leader of the team at the time. What makes him so different now? He is not playing like he did in the previous rounds so where did he go. In 2006 Miami had Wade and Shaq. Now Miami has Wade & Lebron but why are they in this position? Lebron can't win over and over meaning he will win a few rounds and play great like he should but the one where it counts he can't come thru. Real champions win championships and right now he is going to be 0-2. In conclusion lebron makes himself lose a ring not the other team. If he is a real great player let's see him get these two wins with another trophy for Miami and his 1st ring ever.
Dallas. They got a lot on there plate these playoffs but they did not forget how to play well especially when it counts. Dirk has seemed a little timmmed not scoring 40 but Miami does actual still play defense! As for the rest of the crew J.J is the X-factor. He plays great, gives the team a boost and then they get the win. He plays crap then it affects the team and they got to pick it up for his mistakes which I noticed but in the end he is a main role player right now. Any extra 3's or layouts def don't hurt! All the players on this team def deserve a ring for what they done and played.
PS.I also like Cuban is keeping his mouth shut unless no ones writing about him!
I thought Miami was going to pull it out in 5 but then I now I learned Lebron is only good for the Media and not winning rings unless he changes his attitude about winning and when it is important. |

| Be careful. You're not allowed to have opinions about teams or players unless you've held the same opinion for the entire season, or for the past few seasons. |

Get the off your high horse. If Lebron screws up his chance because he can't get focused, that's all his doing, and he'll probably try again next year. Calling them the greatest one minute, then calling them garbage the next is for idiot sports-fans. People who actually pay attention to the sport know that all players have their ups and downs. Lebron isn't garbage because he's really the only reason the Heat are even in the Finals. |

When did I say the Heat were the greatest? I said I thought they were going to win previously, and now I don't think they will. Should I continue to say that I think the Heat are going to win out of loyalty to my previously held opinions? Besides, the vast majority of my desire to see them win was from Lebron. All players have their ups and downs, yes, and all players either perform well when the pressure is on, or they don't. Lebron clearly doesn't, so he doesn't deserve to win. I also never said Lebron was garbage either, and the reason I said the Heat were garbage is due to the fact that they only have three good players. That was actually quite literally what I said. Your quoting of me and your remembering of things that I "said" is quite selective, and appears to fit quite well with your pointless tirade over something completely fictitious.

| You bore me with your requests for me to interpret your bull any differently than it was clearly stated originally. People who support a player, and then stop supporting them because they're doing poorly are ing sheep imo. I'd still like to see Tiger win another Major, even though he's lost a large portion of his support from his "fans". All of a sudden it's popular to hate Lebron, and you went from saying you want him and the Heat to win one to "oh nvm guize they're not the greatest team evar so i hope they lose". You make me laugh. |

My favorite team is Orlando!! They end up playing bad due to team drama.
I like both teams but like I said earlier I did choose Miami in 5 and that is not happeneing now. I now which is too late and should of known earlier when Lebron gets this deep in the playoffs he is in deep and will be too late by this time Sunday unless he plays like he did against the pistons back in 04. The problem with that is that was only the conference championships. Now the Finals. Dirk did F' up the 1st time but he did not forget and now he did his part instead of shiining in the media like you know who and def has the team to back it up this time with J.J :p He is 2011 version of mugsey boggs. I wonder if he stats match up gotta his basketball reference.com to check that out! |

There's really only one way to interpret them. It's not like I was running around screaming "Omg guys I love the Heat they're the best team ever in the history of the NBA!!!" I just said I hoped they would win (because of Lebron), and that I thought they had a good chance to do so. You're twisting everything around to suggest that I loved the Heat as a team previously (I didn't), and that I think Lebron is a bad basketball player now because he's performing poorly (I don't). As I've pointed out numerous times, and which you repeatedly fail to process, is that my reasoning for thinking Lebron doesn't deserve to win is 100% due to his apparent lack of mental toughness, not because he's playing poorly.
I thought that Dallas was going to win this series before it started, so your "hating the Heat and Lebron because Lebron is playing badly" argument has deflated quite a bit.

You're also ignoring how I've supported Dirk throughout the playoffs. As I said before, I don't have a favorite team, so I can support whoever the I want. If I like Dirk's style of play, I can want the Mavs to win. If I think Lebron cracks under pressure, I can not want him to win. Who the are you to be the almighty judge of what constitutes someone being on a bandwagon anyways? You act like I committed some crime against humanity because I stopped thinking one player deserved a championship. |
