give me a good example in the past 3 years where he cared only about himself, and tried to rundown people? you can't really count the attempt of the cubs acquisition, because it was there for the taking, and he saw the opportunity. |

I really dislike the Mavs.
In my mind, the owner's responsibilities are as follows:
1. Let your GM max out the salary cap
2. Spend a metric ton of money on everything not governed by the salary cap
3. Let your personnel people handle personnel.
He does all 3. The video tapes he sends to Stern and incessant whining are just things fans of other teams find irritating, but, honestly, would I mind if Reinsdorf sent the league office weekly mixtapes of missed calls? Hell no. |
