do it! imo, its better than nyc- and i stood strong behind the saying "theres no place like ny" for 26 years, until i visited the other month. I def plan to return; hopefully very soon and for a much longer period of time. |

I would normally complain that this is on a wed. night- but for the Big Man any weekend night would be way too packed and full to capacity within a few hours- Im in there.

Now that I see the Voodoo lineup, I'd go just to see the Raconteurs. Love me some Jack White.
Soul Rebels Brass Band is the too, saw them at Jazzfest, teh awesome.
I can't imagine going to NOLA for techno though. I can get that here. NOLA is all about the jazz and blues and that alone is an experience in itself and the way you're supposed to experience the city: through THEIR music, not something brought there. But that's just me. |
