I agree completely! I remember tuning in and double checking that it was in fact Dubfire because it wasn't the sound I was expecting from him. Pleasantly surprised!

I wasn't too impressed with him the last 2 times I have seem him at D36. It sounded a bit flat and generic for me. His set didn't really take me anywhere to be honest. He dropped 3 Maceo Plex tracks under 2 hours last time he spun (and I do like Maceo Plex, just not that many tracks at once)

Dubfire dropped Maceo? That's ing crazy.
He was straight up fresh high energy minimal. It's like that Matador stuff, but other tracks like it I never heard before. He was killing last night. I'm so ing heart broken, it was going to be an awesome night.
I showed up to BLKMarket and they played the last track, 7:15. wtf is wrong with this town! We did see Jody on the way out though, he was cool.

Party was shaping up to be one of the best club nights of all time for me...lighting as good, sound was pretty good (bit rumbly), Shaded was REALLY good, and dubfire was putting on a damn good show

glad to see people are starting to realize that just throwing a party till 5am is not the way to do it
since half the night you wont really have a good time due to all the people in there just cause its nye
so nyd opens is up and welcomes in a more music driven crowd
