All I gots to say is, Butane is the mothering MAN!! And that rmx of Rapture was BONKERS- the floor erupted at 8am like no other.
After his set, I could have gone home with the biggest smile on my face but Joel Mull comes on and puts the damn icing on the cake (a billion times better than his ADE set)! Never knew he could bring it the way he did that early morning- groOOooOOOooOvetastic!
As always, Alexi is who I look forward to the most but he just didn't do it for me..he had his moments here and there but it was just dull.
Of course, none of this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for those bad boy stacks- SBS, much praise. |

i agree with edubbz
butane and joel mull played stellar sets, definitely brought it on and exceeded my expectations.
and that 4 sbs soundsystem was simply amazing. the surround was top notch and you could all the high hats so clearly.i wish they use this system again for future parties, it definitely made a huge difference for me.
i can't talk much about luciano & friend nyd, i didn't hear much techno at that party tbh. (but we all had fun regardless)
i'm surprised alexi delano didn't bang it out, he is usually very consistent (at least i dont feel bad about missing him, too bad you didnt make it to luciano) |

TBH, I didn't care for anymore after BlkM. Went to the venue, sold my tix and skipped to my lou my happy ass home. A friend sent me a pic of the party, which, I won't lie, did tempt me to return for a brief second.
True @ Mull playing an opening set.. I really shouldn't compare the two since they're distinct moments. So, instead, it's better to say he sucks at warming things up than lol jk can't really say that based on that one time but I just really enjoyed his set, a lut!
BlkM was on that BOOM BOOM stuff ALL day! |

hmmmmm
whats the info on this one?
guestlist?set times?
as for blkmarket nyd, i did have a pretty good time
only real beef i had was just the organization of the place.
LINES FOR EVERYTHING!!!!
line to wait outside - 10 min
line to check your ticket in - 15 min
line for bathroom - 10 min
line to get a drink ticket- 5 min
line to get a drink - 5 min
thats 45 min of just waiting around. bathrooms was really dumb, you had that whole other room that was empty but had only 5 port o potties? very under par, same thing goes for drink tickets
wassent the party 21 and up to begin with? so why the 2 lines?
anyway bill patrick was ehhhh very up and down ive heard better
butane was solid and yes eric out of no where he droped iio-rapture
def one of the highlights of new years to see everyone sing it ha ha ha he played a great set overall
didnt get to see mull or alexi but heard good things
big ups to chaska for finding the perfect spot under the heater, made the morning more enjoyable :) |

| His CLR sets were awesome but it's been a while. He's been avant-garde as well since then, I wouldn't gamle $25 on him playing his CLR set stuff. |
