A wild stab in the dark here, but is this book about using the anthropic principle to argue for Gods existence?
It's a great subject that I've studied in depth, truly fascinating stuff..... but people who use it to justify a divine being, simply misinterpret it........ I hope this isn't the case in the book!

haha its soo funny you guys dont even see it. You guys are like bible thumpers. Text book thumpers. I'd totally put all my heart and soul into your belief system but unfortunately your belief system is built upon scientific theory that has yet to be proven and is changed every 5 years.
for the mean time i just wont get involved in religion and belief systems..but you guys keep spreading the word of....whoever. |

No I do. Its built upon old theories and built up. But I do know it changes a lot. and a lot of that has no proof of existing is made up to explain holes in some of the theory. Sort of like a patch. ie. Dark matter and dark energy. Never proven, never seen, never experimented with, but makes sense on paper and is a good way to fill the hole of where all that extra energy and matter is we can't account for.
You know who else comes up with crazy theories to fill voids they can't understand???? Bible Thumpers. they call it God.
you guys are the same. I'm not ting on Science. I'm just ting on those crazy Jehovah Witness' of Science who take theories that are half worked on and run with them into Religious Sector and try to fire them off as ammo.
I'm all for the expansion of Science and learning more and cooler things of existence. But I keep Science and Religion separate. and don't go around attacking other religions claiming I am a prophet of Science here to set the record straight. |

You seriously need to stop reading about dark matter and stuff that you don’t understand. I get so pissed when I hear a bunch of people who barely passed high school (not saying this is you), talking about dark matter and quantum physics. Leave this stuff alone, it’s for the big boys and you won’t understand it by reading a book, or an internet article.
What you can do is read about Charles Darwin and the theory of evolution. That is a good place to start. From there you will hopefully realize that religion and God have been doing their best to jam a bible in the gears of science. It’s not the other way around.
What is the key thing that separates an Atheist from a religious person? If we were to find actual evidence of a God, then an Atheist would be more than happy to accept that, but a religious person, by their very nature, will never change their mind. |
