Thanks for the advice, but my solution is simple enough - just build up the distance more gradually. It's just an issue of patience and restraint.
Zip: I've been doing a lot of push-ups recently. Managed to do 100 in one set the other day, first time in a few years I can say that. |

| That's awesome, man. At my peak of P90X, my pushup count was through the roof during Chest & Back, somewhere in the 300 range (not all at once obviously). I'm nowhere close to that now unfortunately :( |

| Omg I've become a huge weak myself. Not that I was ever doing hundreds of push ups - but I can NOT get through the amount of push ups I was able to do a couple years ago. It's quite motivating though....I dread every set, but the thought of being so weak pisses me off, lol. |

i've been doing all my ab work on them now, instead of just on a gym mat/floor. much more support on the back, and i feel the work in my abs more. but damn if my shorts don't slip more :/ |

| anyone else into riding (road bike)? my gf got me into it and i love it. Great fun and really cool way to do cardio, something which ive always disliked, only problem is the weather can sometimes not play along. |

I use a stability ball for lots of different things. It definitely is really good for your core as you have to engage more muscles to use it/stay balanced while using it.
Couple of my fave things to do with it are planks and hamstring curls. :) |

do not let the weather dictate when you work out, or else you'll find plenty of excuses not to get out there and hammer it. |
