I should start running after my night shifts. A lady I work with is a super obsessive runner and runs after graves. She runs on her breaks, too. Lol.

Also lol, Stu loves nuts! You all saw him say it!

Because of an administrative -up, I've got a bunch of shifts over the next week or two that end at 4am, so there's no public transport home. I've decided to turn this into a positive by running home from work. It's only just over two miles to my house, but it's uphill all the way, which is going to be a big challenge. Hopefully I'll come out of the other side with calves of steel.

Ah goddamn. :nervous:

I live only about 5km from my work. I really want a bike so I can bike to and from.

no used bike shop in your city? usually there is some sort of community used bike shop that takes old bikes people just throw out and they refurbish them for cheap

PS: you are fat. haha *points*

so I've lost about 5 pounds in last few weeks. my runs are up to 8km, but now I want to work on speed instead of endurance. did a 8km charity run and my time was 45:30, which is terrible... though I had a shin splints at 2km mark. gay. playing indoor soccer once a week helps, and i have a boss at work who is a workout fiend...

My bf was gonna buy me a bike as a graduation present but we never got around to shopping for one.

Well, that was even more horrific than I imagined. Although I now feeling amazing.

I don't believe you... Or anyone who says running makes them feel better than someone diagnosed with acute depression. A recent status update on Facebook sums up my feelings quite well:

I don't get it when smug people work out and then brag they're feeling amazing.

Really? Are you mental? You're drenched in sweat, stinking more than a myopic skunk in heat trying to mate with a filthy university dorm-room dustbin - and you know how dirty dorms tend to be, so you couldn't be any more of a biological hazard not even if you swam in a pit full of sewage and toxic waste. Or, as the locals call it, Detroit.

Now, I've just come back from 2 hours at the gym and I want to kill myself if I don't wash and rinse every single inch of my body in the next couple of minutes. This, couch potatoes who subscribe to my feeds, is the truth. Don't let those liars fool you.

It's my mission in life to let couch potatoes know that, no matter what, the only upshot of working out is looking good afterwards.

On this topic, I've ditched my car and I'm using a bicycle now to commute. Sometimes, when I'm about to reach my destination, I just wish a bus, a van, or a capybara could put an end to my misery (i.e. gave me a lift).

my gym buddy dudebro got a girlfriend and turned into a total whipped bitch and is now getting fat. him. I recently raged so hard that I snapped and HAVE to go back in the gym by myself. Once I get back into a routine I'll post my routine and stats. Im basically tall skinny and strong. This on top of indoor soccer at least twice a week.

my hard earned 2 years of fat loss and muscle gain are about to shoot down the drain.Upper Abdominal hernia surgery. 2 months of no lifting restriction from Doctor and an estimated additional 6 month restriction on weight lifting and any "explosive" workouts because of risk of re-opening stitches and surgical wall around stomach lining. , back to eating in very small portions and sacrificing all the good stuff. Heaviest I've been was 264 but currently at 249. I'm 6 "3" so it won't look that bad if I end up stuffing my face with Hostess and KFC from being stuck at home on disability. :(
