If they didn’t develop a comprehensive traffic plan to address the issue of too many vehicles and not enough roads then it won’t really matter what time you leave unless it’s really early? (Before 7:00 PM) Last year it took us an average of 2 hours by shuttle to arrive leaving at 8:30 PM -9:00 PM as well as 2 hours to get back. Four hours round trip… it really kills the mood. |

never took me anywhere near that (except departing night 1 year 1)
maybe leaving at 10pm you are past the bulk of the crowd?
and everyone agrees leaving by 4am you miss the crowds on the way back so you are home in 30-45 minutes.
they do have more people going this year so traffic may be worse though they say they have a special route just for busses so we'll see. Locals have said there is a way you can drive in a bit north of the 1st main exit that really helps getting there for those that drive themselves. |

Where did you hear / read that will have a special route for shuttles? If true, it should make a world of difference. |

Travel Transportation Update
Travel options are much improved from last year, to enhance the guest experience. Shuttles and taxis will have a newly dedicated route to/from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway that is separate from auto traffic – and that will speed up shuttle/taxi travel. Auto access routes have been modified to improve access, and additional parking staff have been added to increase the speed of access and parking. |

though anytime you have 115K people going in/out of a location one has to expect some delays... |

We are staying at the Vadara so there are 3 shuttle bus stops we can take back with short walking distance to the hotel.
We will be trying 4 different breakfast buffets each morning so we have to coordinate to get to those. Shuttle back and change then go eat or go straight there.

I ate at Wicked Spoon for dinner. best buffet i've had.
The one at Casear's is the newest one... walked by and it looks great and gets great reviews as well. |
