Gambling revenue is now just under 50% of total revenue generated in a casino (for year ending 2012). so if EDC is the #1 weekend for RevPar (Average daily rate X occupancy) and if gambling makes up just less than 50% of all revenue, EDC weekend I would think have to at least outperform a non-holiday summer weekend. Hence the hotel people are happy its there IMO. |

Not surprising that he picked Sub Focus (Let The Story Begin), High Contrast (Steve Angello & Laidback Luke - Show Me Love (Be) remix), and Pendulum (that last Prodigy remix - Voodoo People :) ) - big names in the D&B world. =) Very cool though that he took the chance to throw a curveball!

The only time I actually thought it was even in question was due to the tax issue. Since he was able to weather that storm - and they signed a 5 year deal, why would he ever go anywhere else? |

It needs to happen more often, from what I can see in all my travels the crowd is extremely responsive to DNB on the west coast. EDC was no different. Crowd responded very well for carl cox dropping the DNB
It didnt 100% surprise me, I remember Carl Cox bringing DNB to Space Ibiza 2 years ago by selecting some DNB artist to play in the Terrace room.

| He played a few DnB tracks at the end of his Ultra Korea set not too long ago too. Wouldn't be surprised if he played the same exact songs. |
