-Fast shuttle, took 30 min to get there(left at 830pm) and 1 hour back to the strip(left at 345am)
-Amazing production, mainstage is one of the best I have ever seen in 20 years of festivals, great lighting and props
-Loco Dice was on point and murdered the techno stage
-Hawtin was good as always
-Datsik laid down a great set of dubstep(this coming from a non dubstep fan)
-18 year old girls everywhere in underwear LOL

Oh . I'm not one for the festivals anymore, but me, the pictures of this years EDC stages are something else.
Got to give it to insomniac, they have gone all out this year.
People need to start uploading pics in this thread :whip:

which hotel did you leave from that you were able to leave at 830? i got to the bellagio line at 9 and it was 1000 people long, no joke. looked like a 2 hour wait to even get on a shuttle.
at cosmo it was just as bad. i ended up paying 60 to hop in a limo with some other peeps and got there quick using all side roads. shuttles were ed last night.. getting back it took an hour because of the crazy route they took.
im looking to sell my ticket for saturday/sunday plus shuttle pass since i dont feel like dealing with it anymore. holla if interested im at ballys.

i heard last night Cosmo, Aria and MGM all had long shuttle waits but minimal wait at Monte Carlo if that helps.

We waited 2 hours to get on the shuttle at Mirage. The cops were telling us downtown pickups had no line. Going through the Airforce base still put the ride time at about an hour. I guess its better than driving :eyespop:

I have to admit, last year at Drais for Carl Cox, when EDC got shut down from the high winds, suddenly drais started to fill up at 4am with a serious amount young ladies in only their under garments :eyes:

In addition to the main stage being pretty impressive, I think all of the other stages were stepped up a notch this year. If you compare the puny drum and bass stage of last year to this year, it's a noticeable difference in size. I liked the Q-Dance stage better than the Basscon one this year but it's still nice. The only stage I thought was worse this year was the Circuit Grounds. They covered the top so it gets SO HOT in there. I don't know if they covered it for the lighting they have on top that lowers down and can be raised up but what was nice about the Circuit Grounds last year was being able to see the fireworks go off while inside the stage. Also there is no LED display behind the DJ and no lighting on the DJ so it's kind of hard to see who is playing.
One bad thing about the main stage is that the owl thing totally covers the huge LED screen so when people are playing their videos you can't see them unless you look to the sides ones.
Here's a video clip from the main stage ->

Four Seasons
The line for the Four Seasons & Mandalay Bay was 30-40 people deep around 8-830 and super fast.
My guess is its worse on the middle of strip for shuttles?

Yeah, the main stage looks all kinds of awesome. Obviously very Tomorrowland-inspired.
Here's hoping that design direction carries on to future shows!
The owl creeps me out. Just sayin. :nervous:

No line at Mandalay Bay around 7pm, waited maybe 5 minutes for the bus to fill up. Guess it's better to leave a couple of hours earlier and spend that time at EDC instead of the shuttle line. All bets off for tonight tho, it's Saturday!
