Still need to get a marriage license in advance for it to be legal, so it's not really as intense as you think. "For all legal weddings, the couple is responsible for obtaining a marriage license from the Marriage Bureau in advance to arrival."
Basically just people doing it for fun/not real. Maybe a few couples will really get married, but since you need to actually plan ahead to do it, which means waking up sober, going to the Marriage Bureau, filling out the paper work and paying for it, then going back to EDC and actually getting married, I doubt any one nighter's will do it. |

Curious what is wrong with a day beds so I know what to ask for and stay away from?
I am most concerned about cover. Its going to be blazing hot so sitting out in the direct sun doesn't sound like the best choice.
Thanks for the input everyone...
I am waiting for the host to call me back to make the arrangements. |
i'm not sure the "table"/"daybed"/"couch" thing is going to guarantee you cover. i would just make sure you mention when you book it that you need a table with cover. you won't get one of the really close tables iirc but you could shoot for one of the covered cabanas at the back of the dancefloor directly across from the dj booth. i think that would be your best bet. |

Thanks for the information...
Going to get a cabana...anyone want to go in on it with me? There are four in my group and it comes with 20 tickets???
8 people in your group X $160.00 and my group covers the rest. |

part of it is the politics of the djs/their agents and managers all pushing for the 'best' time slots so they have to try and do their best keeping everyone happy.
at the same time most other festivals get their set times out much earlier (even for Insomniac's other events) so who knows for sure. |

this is what I heard too. I heard the talent booker for Insomniac is stressed the out. All the smaller dj's have confirmed bookings via their writer/contract. But the bigger headliners are still in debate for time slots. Everyone wants the peak time slot I guess. |

| Who cares? I don't care as long as the schedule is out a day before :D |

| It's definitely DJ ego, you would be surprised at just how egotistical a lot of these guys are about their time slots. Some even drop out of lineups because of it. |

I would hate to have his(their) job. Within a 3 month period you have all those festivals and DJ's you have to organize. On top of the steve angellos who cry when they dont have the main stage.
F THAT!
I cant imagine all the riders they have to worry about also. Or does that have a different role for festivals and the DJ's dont get riders?
dont forget this lovely post
