if edc stays in vegas, do you guys see them adding some more lanes going to and from the speedway?

5 year contract, and the mayor proclaims EDC Week in Vegas every year? Brings in a ton of money to the city and needs a huge space unless it goes to a 3 weekend event. I can't imagine it leaving, but I thought the same thing about San Bernardino...

Mandalay Bay shuttle update: Almost 8 and there was no line. Four large shuttles waiting there empty too. If your casino is a nightmare, maybe is worth coming over here? :)

i assume the contract does not require Insomniac throw the event in the future - it just that they can if they want to.
But i still don't see it moving.... you can't reproduce EDC Week in LA.

The only way I could see EDC leaving Vegas next year is if something very negative happened between Insomniac and the city of Vegas/Motor Speedway in the last couple of days.
Either that or some crazy announcement like "We're taking a year off from doing EDC so it's extra special in 2015".
It's difficult to believe anything like that will happen, especially after Nocturnal was almost moved to Vegas. But obviously anything can happen, there's so much going on in the business-side of the festival scene these days that surprises tend to happen pretty frequently.
EDIT: Pasquale posted on twitter/instagram that the owl from the night owl experience at EDC will speak at 3:30am Sunday night... perhaps an announcement of some kind?

Maybe they signed a cheap deal with the speedway and that contract is over and now the speedway wants a ton of money while some place closer to home is offering them something cheap to get them back.
I dunno. Just hate the hassle of Vegas. :p

The entire speedway was packed for night 2
-Set of the night goes to Carl Cox, guy ing leveled the Techno Stage. Packed to the walls with a hands in the air big room Techno Set. Fantastic stuff!
-Prydz, Dog Blood, Adam Beyer, and Digweed were all great. Digweed was on point as always with a dark pumping prog set.
-Shuttle was again FAST from Mandalay Bay, 45 mins there(leaving at 9pm) and 1 hour back(leaving at 5am)
Great weekend over all but I think we are done after 2 days. My wife can't take anymore partying after 2 long hard days of non stop drinking. LOL
