Little less than 20 miles. Get the shuttle, a taxi will face rape you with traffic fees. |

I've never had problems with Flavorus falsely charging me. Even if they do, they're legit on refunds. I've gotten a few refunds hassle free from them after cancelled events, and I even bought a wrong ticket once and they refunded me. |

Tickets went on sale at like 11:58 and sold out within a minute.
This is just early bird, they did the same thing last year and they sold out just as fast. Tickets go back on sale January and the entire event won't sell out for a long time. Last year it didn't sell out until a week or so before if I remember correctly. |
I thought this would be a presale similar to Coachella, where they are sold for a whole week, and I didn't check for tix until about 1 p.m. Was stunned that presales had already sold out within a day, much less 10 minutes!
I had told myself that if I could get a pass for $199, I'd go this year. It's been complete carnage at work lately, so now is gonna depend on the job market, fiscal cliff, etc. I doubt that I'm going at this point so won't be getting a shuttle pass, but guess I'll keep the hotel just in case things look any better in January, reservation is fully refundable until 48 hours before check-in.
Funny how when Jerome Isma-Ae was announced with Cosmic Gate at the Palladium, I bookmarked the sales link on my phone and was clicking on the "buy" link right when tix went on sale. Seems that "Giant festival with unknown lineup" didn't give me the same level of motivation to jump on the sales link... |

Where have you been? Coachella presales this year sold out in like 20 minutes.
Anyway, I got mine pretty easily, but did hear of people getting hung on the processing page. That is lame. Why can't these ticketing websites get their together?
Although at some point (like Coachella), there's almost nothing you can do. There's so much demand it probably comes down to milliseconds of difference. Too many people in this world! Sounds like we will need like a 200k festival soon. |

Never been to Coachella, obviously, not my thing...their promoter said that the tix were going to be on sale for a week so guess they sold faster than anticipated... |

| Went to Coachella this year for Week 1 and it was cold and drizzling the first two days. Wanted to go again for 2013 but when I tried to purhcase my tickets the presales were gone for it. At least I got these on Tier 1 and paid for so don't have to worry about this. Only thing left is to secure the flight as my room and rental are already booked. |

My plans for edc week:

Carne Asada fries from Robertos after Drais
June 21st
Dinner at Lotus of Siam

Carne Asada Chimichanga from Robertos after Drais
June 23rd

Carne Asada Fries from Robertos after Drais
Best edc plans an individual can have.
Total avg. cost for tickets + my stated food plans for the whole weekend = 210-220 dollars
Factor in alcohol 40-60 dollars = 250-280
Factor in gas from california and driving to and from food establishments and to venue = 100 dollars
Whole trip cost = 350 - 380 dollars
Is my plan superior to edc? yes it is. |
