Definitely an amazing weekend and easily the best EDC for me, and this was my 5th. Everything was really top notch. Well, other than our driver getting lost on Saturday.

Never made it to MainStage day 3, anyone catch Cox, Hawtin, Knight sets? Crowded or did they clear the floor with techno?

Was there for Carl Cox, it was about 1/3 capacity. He played a decent set, most people didn't know what to do since there wasn't a trampoline bass breakdown every 30 seconds with the DJ telling them to 'jump'. As I was leaving after his set, TONS of people were pouring in for Above & Beyond, which I would have stayed for 7 years ago when they were trance, but not anymore.

I caught Falcon's set at the discovery stage, great true trance set. The only trance set I was able to find all weekend. I hope this kid gets more gigs on the bigger stages soon.

Also saw Scot Project at Basscon, decent hard tranceish set.

Saw Rusko for a bit at Cosmic Meadow, I liked his energy, but I felt he was all over the place musically and I couldn't get in the groove.

Caught a bit of Art Department and Sasha at Neon Garden, good deep stuff that kept the true electronic music fans grooving.

Circuit Grounds was stacked for Laidback Luke who played your standard issue electro house set, which you couldn't distinguish from Afrojack, Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, etc.

Ferry Corsten came on after Luke and started to play the exact same stuff as him, but about halfway he sprinkled some trouse and all the fairweather 'fans' who want bass breakdowns every 30 seconds were visibly annoyed and left.

Best EDC! main stage was sick! music was great! hanging with friends and being silly was fun!

we left our house at 6pm on Sat(had a surprise 50th for my hubby's best friend/boss) and we were home 815AM yesterday. we were gone for 38 hours. we had a blast!

what sucks is the sd card in my phone took a dump. I'm hoping my friend can retrieve the pics and video. :nervous:

Edc surpassed my expectations by far in regards to logistics, crowd control, and production. I never waited in line for anything, entrance, bathroom, drinks, traffic. It was sad to have the techno stage on the smallest in the corner...but at least they put cox, hawtin, and umek on main Sunday albeit at 9-12.

I don't know how they top it next year. Main stage was massive!!!!

Carl's set was much better on Sunday main stage I thought. He ended with like 20-25 minutes of sick breaks. I thought it was a poor decision to play several tracks he played the night before (Lazer Beams, let me see you work, and one other). He only played 2.5 hours total...is it necessary to play the same tracks?

Sasha played a mind of a set, but Art department ended with Pechanga boys - time, which is like 15 minutes long, and set Sasha's 2am set back to 230!

Dubfire is the King though. He comes through with solid techno every time. I have yet to see him drop one bad track in all the years I have seen him play.

As I said about your post before... want to shed any more details on this?

They've already announced its happening next year so for it not to happen they would actually be cancelling it. The dates for 2014 are to be released shortly according to the head of the LV Hotel Tourism Board.

EDC will allow camping in 2 years as well.
Would be cool to have camping from next year
