| israel should off at least to the point they were at when they were given land that didn't belong to them. And to call it a war is not really accurate. The death toll always lead rather harshly in the "terrorists" favour. |

The UN should step in and ship 7 million African Christians (preferably from Sub-Saharan Africa) and 7 million South-east Asians (as long as they're Buddhists) to Israel and surrounding areas. Some Hindus would be fine too. This would turn Israel into a pluralist society that can't be defined according to religion, ethnicity, or anything really, because no single group would outnumber the other groups combined.
This would make "holy" wars pointless, because every single faction would be too weak to rule by force, and there would be no specific clash between "Jew state" or "Arab terrorists" - just like Arabs and Muslims don't fight one another in the US. The separation between Palestine and Israel would probably disappear as well, because ethnic tensions would weaken. Ta-da! No deaths necessary, and insta-peace!
Edit: We'd have a bit of a food crisis, but I'm pretty sure that's easier to tackle than political fanaticism. |

While entertaining... it would not work... there is still the issue of all three Abrahamic faiths wanting to control J-town... there are extremists that would not be satisfied with J-town being controled by a pluralist society. That said I would submit that the current hostility is as much due to economic disparity as it is due to religion. |

If all three faiths cant decide between themselves who gets to play with jerusalem its only appropriate that the rest treat them like little children who are arguing over who gets to play with that one toy and take it away from them. And since you cant really move a city away from its location im perfectly satisfied if it gets carpet bombed into oblivion. That way no one gets to play with it and everybody is happy...well, almost everybody. |

I guess i'm somewhat apathetic to the Israel-palestine conflict at this point, What's going to happen? What always happens. Israel gets in little snippets with Gaza, Gaza launches a load of rockets, a ceasefire is called for by 3rd parties, both sides kind-of-sort-of agree to it, and then a sudden flare up in tension breaks the ceasefire chances and Israel pushes into Gaza. Then the UN sends out sternly worded letters to everyone, and the U.S. covers Israel's ass from sanctions, while arms dealers all over the world get a tingly sensation in their nether regions.
Rinse and repeat; 'em both. |

Agree. If you have an armed force killing civilians anywhere else in the world, they are the terrorists and the world police will order their army to step in and "free" them back to the stoneage. I wonder how it can be, that in this case everyone just stands by and let the slaughter continue. |

Ok your right, only if their is Oil or something strategic to gain from it. But in the end the winner always is the persons who sends out manipulated people to fight for "freedom" and "help" all those innocent children into the afterlife. And the looser is as always the civilians who are getting "free" from there legs and "saved" from their idiotic leaders with a bullet through their brains. And let's not forget all the soldiers who seriously thinks they are fighting for freedom and learns the hard way when they comes home how much those people who send them away really cares about them. They are all just...human resources
But in this case, their is no need to invade any country. They are all brothers under different flags. |
