nijmegen is also cool for partying, don't worry..
and cheaper... 300 euri (dutch plural for euro) is really nothing when it comes to housing |

Hello everybody
i'm coming to Amsterdam this friday(the 15th) and i'll be staying there for a week
can anyone recommend of some good parties and event during this week?
i'm mostly looking for house music,but uplifting trance could also fit
i heard only of the Innercity event on the 16th(of cource i'm going)
Are there any other recomended events during this week?
and please don't link me to sites Dutch sites because i don't know the languege :)
p.s:
recommendations of nice coffeeshops would also be nice :D |

Since we're discussing housing...I may as well drop my question in.
My boyfriend and I are gonna be coming in the summer...so we still have a ways to plan. We'll be there for the month of June & July and are looking at renting an apartment...the hostels we've looked at will only let us book a week at a time, and we want our privacy...so 2 months in a private dorm at a hostel would be super expensive!
We're open to paying around 700-900 euro per month...or roughly $1,200 Canadian.
We've emailed a few realtors and virtually all of them told us that they only rent for 6 months or more, so that obviously doens't help us out. We spoke to someone that does student housing as well and they said they don't have anything available in the summer months.
Does anyone have any ideas?
