Hotels in Amsterdam itself are pretty expensive.
http://www.hotels.nl

By car: Formula One Hotel is ok (43 Euro a night for a room (max 3 people), book now cause it will be full).

hotel paris, or something like that, is pretty cheap too. close to central stration and the red light district :p its hard to explain where it is cause of the insane windy streets, but its kinda on the left hand side from the train station, behind the big church there.

The Red Light district....ahhh, memories....

*Looks for a cigarette.*

The ferry runs day (every 6 minutes) and night (every twelve minutes)
