Don't know about the hotels, there are lots of them.
You'll be arriving on Schiphol Airport Amsterdam.
TE is in Utrecht, about a 30 minute journey by train from Amsterdam. |

you should be fine. Finding a hotel in Utrecht is of no problem at all. NH has got a 4* hotel @ walking distance. (all indoor (thru the station)... 's good to know when in our beautiful, yet rainy, country)
fly in @ ams. take a train to Utrecht (see above) and walk 5 mins to the hotel. utrecht is a nice town. not very big, but nice crowds. couple o' clubs, etc. don't stay for weeks..:D if you stay longer then you might consider relocating to amsterdam for the remainder of yr stay.

| do you know the name of that hotel or hotels that are within walking distance of the train station? how far is this hotel from the venue? how much is the train ride? |

yeah, it's called NH Hotel Utrecht. :D find it via bookings.com. rates 59-180 (euro's that is, (sorry))
it's within walking distance of both the venue and the station.
trainride will be EU 7.10 one way.

| talking about TE 2006 and since we dont want to rent a room to a hotel since we are only coming for the party and we wouldnt stay anywhere since the other day we are leaving back for athens i wanted to ask if they are any lockers in the airport or in a place in TE 2006 so we can leave some things ( such as passports since we dont want to loose them and other stuff ) We will only take with us small backbags so we need to know if there is any place so we can leave for some hours these stuff!!Thanks in advance!! :) |

| haven't seen them @ AMS, but there are lockers (coinlockers) on every big station (in your case Utrecht central has got those) |

Yes they have lockers at the trainstations and at the event itself.
Since you're in a foreign country, you ALWAYS have to carry your passport on you. |

but not when you've already made an entrance to the venue, coz that's not "public".
250 appeals happen to 've been in court today for people who were fined 50 euros because they didn't have any real ID on them (no dice, since they still have to pay :D. but this law i believe is a european thingy??? so there must be identificatieplicht in greece as well.
and no, i was not one of them :D |

if you are going to stay a few days in holland then stay in Amsterdam and not Utrecht. Just take a train to Utrecht it is about 30 mins.
Trains to and from Utrecht ride every half an hour.
Also I do remind you that the summerfestivals are THE partys of the year in the Netherlands. |

| Hey guys. I'm meeting my girlfriend in Amsterdam this October for her birthday. I'm getting in on the morning of the 20th and will be leaving that Sunday, the 23rd. I was wondeing if any big dj's are playing. If so who/where? If not, what would you guys reccomend as far as clubs? My girlfriend really isnt into trance, but she enjoys house. I really enjoy funky house. What are some venus that you recomend? Feel free to send me an email at [email protected] Also I'll be getting there Thursday morning and she wont be arriving until early morning on Friday. Any recomendations on what to do by myself for the day/night? Cafe's are obviously on the list. Thanks! |

so we can use these lockers at Utrecht central then!Is it safe?As i said before we dont want to rent a room to a motel since we are only coming to party and leave the other day so the only thing we will bring together is our selfs and a very small backpack!we dont need to carry with us while we will inside the venue our pass in case we lost them thats the main reason we dont want to carry them with us! :) |
