Same Sex Marriage in the Netherlands
Hi, this message comes from California, where the people here voted last week to change our State Constitution to define marriage as only between a man and a woman.
There has been a fierce debate about this topic since then our our local TranceAddict forum, with a lot of support for same sex marriage but some very heated arguments against it. Those against usually cite protestant religion, claiming that being gay is an immoral lifestyle, or that marriage should be allowed only to those who can bear children. Some go so far as to state that marriage defines the fabric of our society, and allowing same sex marriage would ruin it.
I know that same sex marriage has been legalized in the Netherlands since April 2001, so I'd like to know if anyone would care to share a few thoughts on how this has changed society (for the better or worse) since then, or did it really not make much of a difference?
If interested in reading the California discussion and posting replies directly in our forum, I will also give the three main thread links below. Please keep in mind that to fully understand the perspectives and issues, a lot of reading is required, but this might be great for anyone who is studying or writing a thesis on the subject!

| I recently read that the sale of fresh mushrooms has been banned as well. Is this true? My sister was in Amsterdam back at the end of December and she said she found a place that was selling them. I'm hoping it's not :/ |

So I'm coming to Amsterdam..................well........kind of
i am traveling to another country at the end of May and on the way
to, I have a 6 hour lay over in Amsterdam and on the way back i have
a 10 hour lay over (my idea !!!!!!)
So here is the information that i'm looking for:
1. how long does it take usually from the time you land until i can
get out of the airport.
2. how long and how much $$$ is the taxi drive from the airport to
the Red Light District.(been there before.....love the ingplace)
3. Any suggestions on which specific place in the Red Light District
to avoid and which to definitely visit.
I know its not a lot of time to spare but I would appreciate any
advice and suggestions.

No other trance events in that range.

Unless you'd hide it quite well. Security @ DV is known for it's accuracy. There should be a list of forbidden items on the DV site. |

that was basically my top question as well. Eventough there is a lot of trance, I've never found any club that has trance in a daily basis.
Basically in NL the trick is to subscribe in http://www.partyflock.nl to all trance DJs you known, then you'll known the trance parties locations, that change all the time |
