Tiësto - Just Be album showcase in HMH

Tiësto's nieuwe album komt eraan en dat gaat weer gepaard met de nodige publiciteit. O.a. doet hij op 20 mei de HMH aan om daar een set te draaien samen met andere Black-Hole DJs.

Unlike the Dutch Dimension (Tiësto Solo 02.02.2002) gig, Just be is not going to be a solo performance by Tiësto, he will be supported by various dj's from his record label, Cor Fijneman, Ton T.B., Mark Norman , Montana and Le Blanc.

Besides of the Netherlands, Tiësto will also perform on international scheduled release parties of “Just Be”.He will hit Germany on the 14th of May, performing at “The Bunker” in Hamburg. The day after he will play in Slagthuset in Malmö, Sweden.
The UK will have their own release party weekend on the 21st and 22nd of May. The 21st Heaven in London will be attended, 22nd it's the Academy in Manchester's turn to have Tiësto behind the decks. Both release parties will be supported by Kirsty Hawkshaw on P.A. and a few of his recordlabel's own DJ's, Cor Fijneman, Ton T.B. and Mark Norman.
The whole month of June it's North America time! Tiësto has planned a big ‘Just Be' tour. As from the 2nd until the 27th Tiësto will be touring throughout the whole US and Canada. Keep your eyes on the schedule on the website for the final dates and venues, these will be published soon!
July is scheduled for a release weekend in Spain. Tiësto will be performing in 2 of the bigger venues in Spain, Pacha and Fabrik . The 16th is reserved for a “Just Be” party in Pacha in Barcelona, one of the coolest venues of Barcelona at the moment. The 17th Tiësto will appear in Fabrik in Madrid, currently one of the best venues in the whole of Spain. Both nights will feature Kirsty Hawkshaw on P.A, and will be supported by local DJ's.

| hmmm opzich wel leuk dit idd, ware t niet dat ik er 3 weken eerder al sta bij qontact, en 2 weken na tiesto weer ns naar berlijn ga voor VN (sasha + pvd).... een vraagteken feest dit :toothless |

Ferry Corsten is op dit moment zowel als producer en als dj stukken beter en vernieuwender dan Tiesto.;)
Anyway, wanneer Tiesto Ferry echt had nagedaan en een hele avond zou gaan draaien, zou ik hier wel voor warm lopen. Met die kermis-djs als Cor fijneman enz. lijkt me dit niet zo heel bijzonder. Zeker niet als Tiesto alleen zijn albumhitjes aan elkaar komt draaien.
Weet iemand hoelang zijn set wordt? |

Denk het niet. Ga eigenlijk niet meer naar massale trance-only feesten, hooguit af en toe een clubavond ofzo als ik op de gastenlijst sta :) (Maar de muziek die ik thuis luister is voor het grootste gedeelte wel trance.)
De feesten die ik nu bezoek zijn technofeestjes en natuurlijk de festivals in de zomer. Daar kijk ik nog wel altijd even om de hoek bij de trance-tent. Want het blijft wel m'n favomuziek, alleen staat het niet meer met stip op 1 maar zijn er meerdere favo muziekstromingen bij gekomen ;) Ik vind ook dat de meeste hiero iets teveel hokjesminded zijn (geworden).
Deze post was meer vanwege het feit dat ik weer es wat wilde posten omdat het niveau hier soms bedenkelijker wordt (zie de voetbal thread) dan dat ik naar dit feestje wil ;) |

| Weet nog niet of ik ga, Tiesto heeft me de laatste twee keer erg teleurgesteld met zijn sets. Dus ik denk dat ik dit feessie oversla, genoeg leuke feessies waar ik naar toe ga de komende tijd, de overige dj's trekken mij nou ook niet echt. Black Hole isset een beetje kwijt, weinig goede releases en het album van Tijs gaat errug tegenvallen vermoed ik (laten we hopen dattie mij verrast met een wereld album) |

Idd de laatste sets van Tiesto (en dan met name die van Revolution) waren niet echt om over naar huis te schrijven :(
Maar ik denk toch wel dat we hier naar toe gaan.

Er wordt alleen nu al volop reclame gemaakt op radio 538 voor dit feest.... dat is wat minder natuurlijk |

Revolution set vond ik juist onwijs vet man :eyespop:
Dit feestje lijkt me best wel vet, mede omdat Cor Fijneman en Mark Norman ook komen :) |

Het feestje was zeker vet :D
De set van Tiesto vond ik mwhoa... en dan eigenlijk meer over hoe hij achter de draaitafels stond. Zonder bezieling leek het wel.
En toch is dat ook belangrijk (voor mij) dat je ziet dat de dj er plezier in heeft, dat ontbrak dus bij revolution :D
Vandaar dat ik ook weer zeg dat ik weer naar dit feest zal gaan. Tiesto EN Mark Norman EN Cor..... heerlijk gewoon toch? |
