My evolution theory involving fa...*ahem* i mean homosexuality

i don't know much about evolution aside from the basics, and i'm not really "religious" even though i was brought up catholic. i'm one of those "sprituals" who just believes in some sort of God or higher power and that our souls go somewhere nice hopefully when we die, but if not, then oh well, i'll be dead and it won't matter.
anyway, i was thinking about the whole gay epidemic (sorry for calling it an epidemic like it's some sort of disease but i can't think of another word) and it's really surprising actually. i really think that there is a gay gene and i'm wondering if there is just a "glitch" if you will in our whole genetic make up, the more and more we reproduce.
i definitely believe in evolution...i'm not buying the whole Adam & Eve thing.
but anyway...when it comes to homosexuality, i think it's wrong. and i don't mean because of my religious or spiritual beliefs. i'm talking about the basic science of it all. whoever or WHATever created us, didn't create us so that men should other men in the . it is very obvious what our was made to do, and that is to . if men were created to men, then don't u think men would be able to bare children?
anyway so i think it has to do with some sort of weird glitch along the way where men are starting to like men (more and more i mean), and i wonder if eventually men will be able to have babies after we have evolved more.
what u think? i'm nuts?

Hmmm, that would be interesting though wouldn't it? If eventually we were all sexless and everyone could produce children - it would kind of fit the bill as survival of the fittest - it'd be awfully easy to produce offspring....... |

| Scientists have done genetic studies and they believe that there is a genetic link to homosexuality, although its just a theory after many experiments, and there isnt any conclusive evidence. They are constantly working on different fragments of chromosomes and they believe that they have found the area, but arent 100% sure. |

The battle of man vs. woman is in our very core. When the two chromosomes join while making a baby, X Chromosomes literally attack the Y chromosome, either trying to kill it, or turn it into an X. The end of the world may not come in fire or darkness but in less men being born. Evetually a male being born could become so rare that females would probably take all men and harvest sperm from them in order to try to continue the race.
At least t he Y chromosome has developed some defenses. If attacked, it can repair itself. It is resilient to destruction. But theoretically it could happen as quickly as in one generation. |
