Funny how all my friends got in before i did and i had a vip....wtf is the point of vip then? because of stupid organization, i got in ay 1:15, missed sander's set at the starting (mainly the reason why i wanted to go the BEB)
Sander van Doorn Like i expected he would destroy the place, nothing more i can say, loved when he dropped Richard Durrand - Ricocchet and other great tracks, one thing i didnt really like about sander, but i can understand he played a little mainstream, i could ID 90 percent of the tracks he played, i thought he was gonna rip the new ...regardless highlight of the night, the energy when he was on was unreal

Peter Rauhofer Only saw about 50 min of him, was pretty good, just the vibe in the house room was really really weak, personally no energy, but Rauhofer's music is solid
Armin van Buuren Alot better then last year, im happy he started with some harder then last year, a typical Armin set, no surprises, didnt really like his "rollorcoster" type of dj'ing, at Stereo he was doing that too, but it was done perfectly, at BEB just kept going up and down too fast....wtv great ernergy from him and the crowd, overall a good Armin experience..loved some tracks he played...the last 30 min or so from Armin was ing gay, cant beleive he closed like that, playing Killers and , lol at PVD - For an Angel and Robert Miles - Children (Tatyana & Sean Tyas Mix) ....pretty cool to hear those tracks i guess :p

Above & Beyond For producer(s) their mixing is very good, alot better then i expected, however i think i was getting a trance overdose or something i couldnt take it anymore, from what i saw from them good mixing, they did play alot of old tracks, and ya
DeepDish caught pretty much a good chunk of Sharam and it wasnt too bad, he played some pretty sick tracks, esp towards the end
BEB needs to do something about the organization aspect of it, i hope they are going to learn from this experience, for a big respected organization like that they should be better prepared, overall good night, i think im gonna give massives a little rest for now, too much trouble |

Music 5/10 (woulda been lower if Sultan & Dubfire didnt rock)
I think dubfire played the best hour of music (after the ridiculous intro due to technical difficulties...)
met lots of friends, danced a lot, was a great party (thanks again summerwolf for helping me out with the tickets, i ended up giving the second one to a close friend who didnt have one - all the others ended up bailing!)
I really hate breakdowns in a ing massive room which was why i couldnt stand the trance room and why the house room was sometimes sucking as well.
goddamn breakdowns are annoying! great party though, really... but I have had wayyyyy more fun in this city |

My crew and I got there around 3:00. I think our timing was perfect, we must have gotten in right before they stopped people from going in!
It was funny to confuse the hell out of the security people when I pulled out my box of wakeup pills. Then to top it off, we each took one in front of 5-6 of them staring at us thinking "should we stop them or what the is going on here?" hehehe :toothless
My gf was a bit tired, but as soon as Armin came up she was pumped. Her friend Ola is now in love with Armin. I think she's spamming his inbox asking him to marry her!:D
I think most of you already described the night like I would have... Armin spun a great set. Some classics, new remixes of oldies, and some new tracks. I don't mind the rollercoaster style of his 4 hour sets... you don't wanna be going crazy the whole time, and you don't wanna be bored the entire set. It's like he's got the whole place in the palm of his hand, taking us up high whenever he wants to :)
I was really waiting for A&B to play. Jono and Paavo did great. I felt bad for them having to get the crowd to go nuts after a 4 hour Armin set, but they were both full of energy. My gf asked for Can't Sleep and they played it for her... so big thanx to the boys :)
I just wish the DJ monitors didn't cut out every 2 seconds. And they didn't have speakers for us at the front. Poor Armin left the monitors up whenever he could, but Jono and Paavo only kept them up during their transitions. So for most of A&B set I heard the reverb from the back of the room!!!
Oh, and a sick laser show woulda been cool too... but that's just a suggestion, not a complaint.
We got interviewed by Global, but we get Global Toronto here in Ottawa, so I didn't see the report. Hopefully someone's got it on YouTube or something!!
Thanx to Linizie for introducing me to so many TAs. It was awesome partying with her and Adi. Fahad, Peter, YankeeBaby, Chimera, Francesca, Haily, Coxx, Vedo, (something)Wizard... it was nice meeting you all.
Malek, thanx a billion for taking so many pics of us. Can't wait to see them all :)
