The night was totally amazing, except for the sound issues.
The fact that there were technical issues during Armin's set was pretty bad. In addition, if you were on the VIP platforms, you could hear the monitors and the speakers from the back of the room. The annoying part about that is that you would hear the monitor about 1/10th of a second before the main speakers. This created an almost echo effect that was quite irritating. |

Never been to BeB before but I generally saw what the hype was about (been to a lot of other parties). It was like a circus inside, packed everywhere and a bit overwhelming. Second sun were horrible, so I checked out the house room. I think Rahofer was on and he was a bit disappointing, a little boring IMO. Despite the technical difficulties, it was nice to hear some live singing with Maya. There should be more of this at furture events (including live performances a la Booka Shade). Armin played pretty decent for what I remember, though he ended on a very weak track. Saw a bit of Dubfire and he played generally to more of my style. I remember hearing Kazyani remic of Outhouse. After that I didn't really see any more of the djs as i got...distracted.
Overall, I had a great time. Bumped into a bunch of ppl from O-town which was cool.

What a good night. Like most of you, I was stuck in that line-up. Since I only decided to come to this party at 3am, I got there at 4:30, couldnt get in. SO I went to Stereo and as soon as I was told they were letting people in, went back. Th3 4 hours I spent there were insane. Best I have spent at a Bal en Blanc. Armin seriously rocked it, Deep DIsh were good, better in their second half. In all it was a sick party, very well organised.
Last year, it took me 30 min to get from one room to the next, this year, took me 5. Loved it. |

| Man i hate reading review threads of events i didn;t go to but i cant help it! seemed like quite the party though lol. mad props to Above and Beyond of course, seemed like they pulled off quite the show. never knew they were so dorky and cheesy (not musically lol). by the way, from all the pics i've seen so far, seems like the DJ booth at Resolution owned BeB's booth! |
