But having your ticket doesn't matter, if capacity is reached and the fire marshalls are being asses.

like he said... it never been an issue, but that means that BeB was always overselling before... they just got lucky. They should put a warning on their tickets (which i believe isnt there). I mean, sucks for the person that bought his tickets 2 months ago compare to the one that got there at the last second ya know? If there was a disclaimer saying so, i would tell people that got there late: too bad for you. But when u buy tickets for a show and u cant get in, that sucks big time.
Iniatlly, they only refunded the VIP onsite (tickets does say fast access or your money back). But for the people on site that wanted a refund on their regular ticket it was refused. But i think it was because the main organisation wasnt aware of how many people got turned back and Paul made a point on LCN to say that the people that got turned away will get refund.
I still think they shouldnt oversell an event. Its like saying for... i dunno ... a beatle show ill sell 10 000 tickets when there is only room for 8000 and ill hope for the best and i wont let people know... here is a title from an email that was sent from Godskitchen a few days ago to a lot of people : 15,000 people - This week end - Bal en Blanc - tickets going fast -.... dont tell me they didnt know capacity was only 13 000....
But im sure they will have learned their lesson and next time it will be better. |

I showed up at 6AM.
Saw a firetruck outside.. people coming out.. oh no.
We went inside, and were told by some guy in a suit that they werent letting anyone inside, we can wait in line for a refund or go wait by the stairs.
Dammit, 4 hours of driving and getting strip searched at the border I was going to wait!!
20 min later, we got let in! WOOT!
So we go in VIP entrance, and just before we are going to enter the insanity, i realize
hey, where are the goddam bracelets?
I guess they ran out of them?? so i payed some dude outside 100 bucks for the priveledge uf walking up a differnt staircase?
i declare shinannigangs!
but whatever, at least were in,
ran straight to armin, he was awsome, so damned happy and nice, my girlfriend was in love lol..
i guess i timed it right tho!! we went to bed at 11 woke up at 5 and headed down |

svd: woouuuuu... dirty hard trance... he put on a great performance
second sun: not my thing but props to anthony for being such a cool ass gangstar... guy is great to have around a party
armin: ooooooooooooohhhhh man i was hearing it from everyone the whole night... HE KILLED IT... truly the headliner of the night
above and beyond: good but i got kinda bored
rauhofer: why doesn't this guy interact with his crowd? His music is great albeit repetitive but wtf is with his SUPER FOCUSED FACE while mixing... like... u arent recording a cd mix, YOURE PLAYING FOR A BUNCH OF PEOPLE!!!

got there at 11 with vip.. took 30min to get to the coatcheck.. then the pat downs were congested because they were slow and didnt get in until 1210 ...
sander as expected beat the crap out of us
the sound in the techroom was gross the left speakers were crackling and sound was cutting out, this was pretty hard to enjoy the music outside of the vip area where you could hear the monitors but not out in the crowd...it was reported to the staff and they said they know and there was nothing they could do about it.. also armin had issues with the equipment and they replaced the cdj, 2 more cdj's later it was working :|
i was expecting a better decor, beb to me was always prestigious but after what i consider a weak weak weak weak setup (wtf was with the lcd screens? was that supposed to be cool?) it felt pretty ghetto and un-beb like.. i wasnt expecting perfection but its bal en blanc, not some event at said club/bunker/etc... overcrowding, friends not able to walk thru the house room and not get groped by some tool with his shirt off rubbing up another dude..
highlight was markus schulz showing up with guy ornadel, we hung out with him for awhile in vip and talked some smak:), then later we hung out with a&b for abit.. those guys are hardcore geeks they are hilarious |
