lol, shirtless doesn't automatically mean gay, ppl. That's probably some negative comments coming from pencil neck/out of shape geeks as well.. or so, that's what Spiffy told me :p
I saw the asian wall, the glowstickers, gays, 'rippers and Quebec porn stars, 16 year olds, crackheads, hip-hoppers, everything, but thats what makes it eclectic. It's only when ppl start to denigrate other groups that it gets tiresome. Save it for the crappy djs and the greedy organisers ;) |

if anyone ventured to both rooms, BeB def succeeded in getting its targets: kids in the trance rooms and gays and sexy women in the house room. Sexy women attract/attracted to muscleheads so you saw hetero muscleheads in the house room too.
House also has cross over appeal to ppl who like funk/hip-hop and trance has a huge asian following, so hence the different groups. I'm just glad I was able to enjoy both rooms and keep an open mind. |

I had this one hot girl who kept telling her gay male friend to "touch his chest, touch it." I think he was freaked that I was gonna knock him out or something if he did, but yeah, some odd stuff goes on in the house room sometimes :p |

1) Guy puts his hand on my waist, I take it off with my own hand, he winks and makes a pouty face.

3) I feel this shoulder knock into me. I turn, notice it's a girl, and look back up at Rauhofer. My mind races for a bit and I think... wait a minute... turn back and sure enough it's a tranny.
4) Markess wanders away from the house room, gets tapped on the shoulder, turns, this 6'5 black guy takes my shoulder and moves me next to him and his bf. Markess begins to sob and frantically searches the dancefloor for Spinny McLaden but cannot find him.
5) Markess gets raped under the house room stage. :( |

Went back to being bored once Ali came on with that depressing intro, but afterwards he totally rocked :) Sharam started out a tad cheesy I found but progressed into some fkn sick beats...My bestest hours there were from 7am-12pm (closing)...I had never seen Deep Dish b4 and I must say that I was impressed, I reallllllly enoyed the music at certain points...
So there goes my 2nd BeB, the set up last year was waaaaaaay better by the way...And pleaseeeeeeeeeeee BeB people, put a tad more variety in the House room next year. Although it is my favourite genre, there's only so much progressive tribal I can take...
The tech/trance room scared the outta me every time I tried walking in. So I gave up.

OMG the biggest thank you EVER to Maher & Co. for hooking me up with everything :) We really shouldn't start drinking at 8am ever again tho babe, ok? ;)

I don't get all this negativity and fear about homosexuals. If a guay guy hits on me I take it as a compliment and let him know that I'm not interested. If he persists I walk a away. (I was taught this meneuver by many girls. I figured if they could use it on me well I could to)
Remember a litle over 2000 years ago homosexuality was common. It is only religious institutions and states that have divided us. That is how they can control us. If we fight and hate amoungst they can control the whole pie.
Anyway my time at B&B goes as follows. I went with two couples that had never gown before and they were amazed. One of the girls had been complaining about having to wear white all month but once she was there she understood. I was also glad to see that I was not the only one not dressed up like a SH. I like trying new Ideas for parties but I don't think edm listners are exactly the type of people who go to comic book conventions. Montreal ladies as always, thank you and you were beautifull but I was to busy looking at my wife. It seems every year she goes she feels more and more comfortable to wear less and less. The sound as everybody said was crap espacially in the tech room. Although, and this may be just me, but in my oppinion the sound in the tech room became much better when AVB came on. As for the music I must be the only one here who was not impressed. For me AVB saved the night. His set this year made up for last years awfull performance. All in all I had a great time this year and can't wait to do it next year again. B&B please dump deep dish, put preach on erlier with a longer set and get nick as your opening act next year. See you all at Ferry in June;) |
