moi je crois qu'il faut un coup de barre dans la deco, a chaque annee les idees sont bonnes sur papier, mais dans la salle c'est pas aussi interessant.

T'as juste une chance pour monter ca, y a pas de pratiques ou quoi que ce soit.

the tech room was the same, the house room seemed smaller because of the big stage in the middle, dance floor was maybe smaller, but not that much of a difference.

It was crowded, all vip booths, areas, were full. The corridors were crowded, and alot of people couldn't get in!

Mr Moss
Lineup: got there after 12, we spent about an hour in line, was really slow but not nearly as bad as some other ppl on here experienced.

Wizz: came in too late but im reading good reviews sofar..

Sander: very consistent and energetic tech trance set, continuously banging and perfect for getting in the BeB groove as your just coming in, think he will be in MTL more after this..

Second Sun: sounded ok, above expectations even, but this was also a vital opportunity to walk around and explore the venue ie house room

Armin: Well he played a normal armin-style set, I dunno but I think 4 hours of this was too much, so I didnt really get into it and took frequent strolls around the 'palais' to witness some beb funk unfold, as I kept checking in from time to time he picked up a bit toward the end and played some harder stuff, lol @ the filo n peri anthem track, somehow i figured he'd squeeze that in

Above and Beyond: this was what I was waiting for ever since they got announced to the lineup, was a bit worried they'd mellow it down too much and make the set hardly dancable but they exceded expecations, the tracklist just rocked the set took right off, I loved how Paavo was just soooo geeked about the stuff they were dropping, jumping/clapping/gesturing/running to the crowd/striking all kinds of poses, track by track he was super fun to watch and it never got boring, too bad they only had 2h (and same goes for preach)

Preach: totally blew the roof off in the end with something like a musical carpet bombing, a seriously high intensity closer set but sadly so little energy left by that time.. I knew this guy was techy but not like this..

the heavy smoke was a plus because it blocked the sunlight beaming from the exits + it was very moody

definetly worth the 90$...

Come on Jay. In the Tech Room there was a lot of new talents.

Wizz, Sander Van Doorn (first time in Mtl?), Above and Beyond (it's been a while since they went to Mtl).

Second Sun, they were there at Resolutions but they're not as regular as Tiesto, DJ Dan or Armin in Montreal. So in my book, this count as new talents for BeB.

Preach ? I think everyone love this guy and he's from Montreal.

Armin ? They need an headliner to get people who doesn't really know EDM. Many people don't know A&B or SvD, but they've heard of Armin Van Burren (same case here for Deep Dish).

The Tech lineup this year was incredible. Ok it was Trance so what ? The room was packed until 9h00-9h30 while last year it was'nt as packed. I got more space to dance when A&B were nearly finished.

House room ? I heard many people were going because of Nassim. I don't know anything about House but I know he's known and people were going to see him. And from what I know, he wasn't on the lineup last year.

Seriously stop bashing at Bal en Blanc and all big events because YOU don't like the lineup. BeB did get many new talents this year and even if the decor/lights wasn't as good as last year or 2 years ago, the music/set quality was there. And I think this is one of the most important part in an event like this. But that's just my opinion.
