Just a few years back, before the tech trance rooms, Bal en Blanc was mostly a gay event for gay people. Straight people who went there actually respected the gay community, and didn't need a shield and didn't fear to get there little ass hole ripped off. Sadly over the recent years, idiotic remarks and behavior like that is what drew the interesting people away and made this the Homophobic Meat Market it is today. It wasn't about hot chicks, it was about fun people who actually took time in making original fabulous costumes, and achieved sexyness in creativity, not by buying a cheap suit at la Boutiqe Érotique.
I'm sorry, but more and more people look cheap and slutty. I'm not making reference to the pictures in this topic, don't get offended if you don't feel it concerns you, it's a general remark of what I have seen in the last years.
But at least stop the gay jokes, I mean if you go in the House room during Rauhofer and Nissim and you are homophobic, than you are an idiot homophobic. |

Seriously the music this year sucked, probably the 2nd or 3rd worse circuit party/rave I've been to and I've gone to almost every single one since 99. I guess the fact I no longer like uplifting Trance anymore plays into my opinion of the night although I did enjoy AVB last year and if I were to rate him during BeB vs at Stereo for Labor Day weekend: 4/10 = BeB, 20/10 = Stereo
Preach was by far the savior of the night and he spun way better than last year. |

that is somewhat true. Hmmmm, if only Miss Nine could spin like that.
As I said, it wasn't all about the women...I was in Fear and Loathing mode big time too, I had to walk it off for a bit since I was out of practise and consequently out of sorts. I think I did Moral Hazard proud there for a bit :p |
