Oh, the Darfur cop-out. Well ing played.

"Hey man, what's wrong?"

*sobbing* "My mom just died in a car accident - they say she was stuck there for 7 hours before eventually perishing."

"WELL YOUR MOM! THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ARE BEING KILLED IN DARFUR EVERY DAY, WHY DON'T YOU CARE ABOUT THEM MORE OFTEN???"

If you don't care about this incident, then why keep posting? It's not as though like this affects you anyways. You don't live under The Patriot Act.

Oh right, but you're so concerned with things outside of your own sphere - like Darfur, for example - that this practically affects you as well. Oh, but wait. You don't care.

because i get annoyed at wannabe hippie morons characterising incidents incorrectly. like its the end of democracy or something  all the s on this here website jumping to all sorts of conclusions without much thought being involved. it pisses me off.

where's the 10 page darfur COR thread? oh that's right, americans dont give a about the rest of the world (assuming they even knows its there ).

Umm...Even if he's a twat, I'm sure getting tasered is an excruciatingly painful experience. Atleast give him the benefit of doubt for that.

my cousin and i used to play cattle prod tag when we were kids. they are way more potent than tasers.... they can actually make you yourself.

pepper spray is way worse imo....

How do you know the effects if you haven't been tasered yet ? Is Taser more or less powerful than a cattle prod ? And how is a pepper spray worse than a Taser ? These are two completely different mechanisms of pain. You cannot compare them.

Not credible, but I found this somewhere...

quote:
the main difference between a taser and a cattle prod is the amount of voltage. while tasers deliver 50,000 volts to the body, completely immobilizing the person, a cattle prod usually delivers only abouy 9,000--shocking the victim only at the point of contact. in other words, a cattle prod hurts much less, and does less damage.

Stodgy hack, aren't ya?

I don't have to make a rebuttal. This isn't pkcRAISTLIN's game.

You have not been to Darfur. Ever. You likely never will go. Yet you espouse that Americans don't even know what/where it is. And you are asking for a rebuttal from an American who knows what/where it is. Your comments are hardly worth refuting as they do a well enough job of that on their very own.

i never said there weren't exceptions ;) but i do love how criticising one's country tends to get people in such a fit of parochial defence of the mother country :haha:
