You have it completely wrong.
My criticism was not of his supposed concern nor his actually ever going there. I was attacking his brand of logic and proclivity towards gaping generalisations.
I happen to think it's paramount for people to understand and have opinions on issues - it's the first step towards changing things. I also do not profess that complaints without action are completely worthless as some of the people here seem to subscribe to. Change starts with the mind; always has.
