Freedom of Speech or you commy. ;)

There was no reason to NOT let the kid talk. What the cops did was in my best words overreacted and they should have let him calm down and talked to him calmly. Some cops have no patience and it IS a high stress job but ffs would he really have gotten violent?

Sure there was. He was trying to make John Kerry look bad.

Order knows that words can kill it, so it must lash out at those who have something to say. It's how Order survives.

So where do you stand?

Remember, these were campus security cops. I blame them for overreacting, but it doesn't surprise me. They seem have itchy trigger fingers. Dweebs. Come to your own conclusion as to whether or not they're 'real' cops.

It's like the actual cops in my boring town. Lodi... jeez. They just had their first double homicide, ever, a few years ago. They're bored and waiting to pounce. Sad, really. Those are the ones who need to be reassigned to Stockton. Perhaps camsr knows what i'm talking about.

BUT, there WAS a reason to not let him talk. Talking time was over, and they even gave him extra time because he demanded it.

Annoying and bull questions are merely your own subjective view point as to what was being asked.

The questions he asked might not of been known to people in the audience. To others perhaps they were really good questions.

Leave the bias out and keep to the facts that the individual asked questions. That alone should not merrit an act of detainment on any level.

Plus if the individual really caused a problem while procuring himself a mic; why did the police do nothing to stop him then? This in all honesty looks "REALLY BAD," on how the police took care of the situtation.

how about you make your mind up after seeing and reading what happened through the entire affair? you wouldnt need to ask such questions if you knew what you were talking about.

the guy is a serial pest, who went out of his way to disrupt a forum he had no interest in participating properly in. he stole the mic off someone else mid-sentence, after it was already noted that this would be the final question. despite all this kerry allowed him to continue with his question, and the guy acted like a wit with his conspiracy theory bull. im not saying he deserved to get tasered, but if you're gonna act like a tool then you should be prepared for all eventualities.

so get off your soapboxes you ignorant bunch of hippies. had the guy participated legitimately like everyone else we wouldnt be having this discussion. he is a serial pest and this time someone got out the flyspray. oh boo hoo

I work as a guard in a hospital and I've seen a few guys come in with taser hooks stuck in them. Its the new weapon of choice for cops, when someone is being disruptive. Still, there is a reason they are called PEACE OFFICERS, and violence should always be a last resort (or the threat of violence saved for the end of a long day :haha: )
