Yeah. It seems some people weren't wearing their critical thinking glasses while watching the video. Hence why I wonder what conclusions people would make about it if they didn't know the back story.

I don't agree at all with how that kid acted, but that is not the only aspect relevant to his arrest.

Then sue the state and the police force and win.

they grab his arms and try to escort him out (not violently however, just forcefully). And then he starts flailing and yelling.

Two people jumped up on him from behind and grabbed his arms out of in' nowhere. Of course he's going to resist. They could've just tapped him on the shoulder and led him in the direction of the exit.

Police officers aren't supposed to go to full force in the blink of an eye like that, when the person isn't being violent at all.

People are quick to anger, it seems. It's easier to get worked up over something than to be thoughtful about it. (Guilty here, too)

The thing that gets me most is, why this story in particular? Kerry?

What about the one where the guy having a diabetic seizure while laying on his bed was tasered? THAT was sickening.

yeah, but then again, the tape shows you resisting the arrest

what would have happened, if a teacher, or someone like this, said to him.

"we have a 3 minute time limit on questions" let him do his thing, and then what?

then he looks like an idiot.

Hardly. Your eyes are seeing what they want to see.

Dude, he already knew that. He grabbed the mike during someone else's question when he was told there would be no more questions. He already looked like an idiot. He was already on a short leash, so there wasn't much more he needed to do to be escorted out, ie. start a second question, a question that has little relevence to the forum... etc.

If you resist then you will absolutely be charged with resisting and you will be convicted. If you resist then the judge has reason to believe you had committed the original offence and wanted to escape.

That is incorrect.

http://www.constitution.org/uslaw/defunlaw.htm

"Citizens may resist unlawful arrest to the point of taking an arresting officer's life if necessary."

Remember that tape a week or so ago where an officer threatened to arrest someone for no reason? If that officer had actually acted on that, the above would apply.

(I'm not saying it applies to the tasering incident though)

i don't see where he grabbed the mike during someone elses question. it goes straight from kerry talking to that dude thanking kerry for his time. could you show me where this happens?

also, he asks for 2 minutes, had a teacher said, ok the limit is 3, i dont beleive anything would have happened.
