Malkin flat out dominated the Caps - only Varlamov kept that close at all.

Something that was brought up on another forum.
There's a possibility of Carolina vs Anaheim being in the Stanley Cup finals. Would you watch?
elFreak

What the hell, Jay? Do you have a mancrush on Juicy Yo-kinen?

I've seen you mention him in every post of yours for the last few days. :tongue2

He's a great guy, but looks too Russian imo :o

I just think that he is one of the really great stories in these playoffs.

He went from being a Tampa Bay castoff claimed on waivers to being the biggest reason Carolina is still in it and leading the series.

2 huge last minute goals against the devils and the overtime winner against the boooooooooooooouins.

If he keeps it up and Carolina manages somehow to win the whole shebang, he could seriously be a contender for the Conn Smyth trophy. Pretty good for a guy that one of the worst teams in the league did not want anymore no?

Plus i thought his being a Finn would make you happy turn coat.:p

In unrelated news it is looking more and more like Mr Koivu will not Finnish (pun intended) his career with the Habs. It doesn't bother me that much either.

The second round has been awesome. The Wings vs Ducks game was a little one sided and boring, but the Hawks vs Nucks game was pretty good. I love sudden death :) Thank god for no shootouts in the playoffs, as entertaining as they can be at times. Tonight I look forward to watching both games.

I haven't seen him play this season, so I wouldn't know. All I know is that he scored those goals you mentioned, and from what I've gathered he did a pretty good job at pissing Brodeur off?

Does he play wing? When he still played in Finland he was known as a center who could also play wing. But I don't think he gets to play center in Carolina? He was also a pretty solid penalty-killer, good skater that he is. Does he get to play short-handed in the Canes?
