that's what Vern told me and tbh I'm enjoying what I'm seeing, especially with the good youngsters, something is being built almost akin to pittsburgh in the level of talent and the future possibilities. Will be rooting for you in the winter classic :)
onto last nights live game, saw the first 2 periods of NYR/NYI before tiredness of family party kicked in and enjoyed it. some wicked fights and my first live 6 on 5 delayed penalty goal. Was very well worked, shame it was by a NY team eh vern :p |

No idea. I dont think the sharks really need him. He just cleared waivers today too. Not sure how to feel about it. |

he did win 4 stanley cups and the conn smyth trophy (playoff mvp)...so my guess is that sharks management is looking for a leader that knows what it takes to win a cup and not choke.
..still, hire him as a coach lol. |

No doubt. Sharks are pulling out everything to get the cup. thats a good thing. Not sure if he will work in Mclellans system but Todd will know and if he does bring Claude up...well I guess he knows best.

yeah...patrick marleau has never been considered much of a leader throughout the league and joe thornton is notorious for being a quiet guy in the dressing room so it must be a leadership thing. Lemieux will chew out people pretty quickly if he does not like what he sees.
it certainly does not make the sharks a worse team...so it can't hurt.

in Boston is something else right now. Ive been trying to catch their games but most are before Im off work and I dont have a DVR.
Im glad hes on the sharks I guess. Hes just a bit rougher than the game the sharks seem to be playing. Calgary or Dallas seems like his style. What do I know though...we will see. |
