| maybe now he's learned a lesson not to show his private parts in public...i personally did not witness but i heard things. either or my money if i were betting would be with the sharks. they are such a regular season team...sorry L.E.N. come Playoffs they will chock like always ALTHOUGH i do give it to you, your team will make the Playoffs mine will just suck and hopefully draft well |

i got ridiculous tickets for tomorrow. if there is a shootout i will flip my . i am so god damn tired of ing shootouts. 75% of the games i attend go to shootouts. i've got people to meet at a bar right after the game and ferry corsten a couple hours later i got no damn time for a ing shootout. |

Im far from cocky about the sharks post season. I still think they need to tighten it up if they want to get to the cup. If they blow it with this team then I dont know how they would ever get there. After 8 years of always going to playoff and not making the big dance is getting in old. |

honestly i would like to see them go far. it is their time to make a significant showing during the Playoffs. personally i cannot wait until the Playoffs begin, hands down the best hockey you see all season. |

Yep. What sucks is that the NHL cracked down on all those great online hosts for games. I was going to ride out my regular season Center Ice plan and watch the playoffs online and whatever is televised. |

| playoff hockey used to be so awesome when teams like philly (old style) and toronto made it and the refs would actually let the teams play. games would be all out war and 5 ot, but now bettman makes sure only the refs that call thousands of penalties make it, and it turns into a special teams fest. you'll still see a hard check, but playoff hockey just isn't as good. |

What? Just last year. The game the sharks lost to the stars. 7 overtimes with crazy saves all game. |

so went to the rangers-avalanche game last night. it was horrible in fact a travesty. me and maybe 3 people in my section were avs fans and we got destroyed. msg was ringing like they won a freaking playoff series. the number of fights at the end were ridiculous, half the avalanche bench was empty. it was ridiculous how they are right now. two games this week that i get to see them lighted up...keep in mind i've only seen them play live 4 times in my entire life due to circumstances like living in a city without a nhl team within a 6+hr drive radius i haven't gotten the chance to see them often. damn it all.

imo a hook is a hook whether it be during the regular season or Playoffs. just because the Cup is on the line does not give players the right to suddenly throw the rules out of the door. the refs are doing their jobs to maintain the integrity of the game. last thing i want to see is penalties not being called and it gets to the point that players are injured or a game and maybe series is decided by a goal ("cough" brett hull goal against the sabres) that shouldn't have counted because something wasn't called. |

Refreshing! Former player of my favorite (european) team made his debut yesterday in NHL and immediately made a goal. Long live Jesse Joensuu!
But who cares? It's Islanders and they are trying to be last in the series just to draft Tavares of Hedman :stongue: |
