I sort of agree with what Biden said about paying taxes is patriotic.
In Canada our taxes are enormous compared to the US, yet I don't mind increases so long as they are to pay for a specific thing that the country needs.
Nor do I really hate paying taxes, it's just part of life. |

Ding! That's a major issue that really irritates me! Some poor worker wants to think of themselves as a well to do person and votes for republican when it clearly means less and less for that person, and the gap between rich and poor gets larger and harder to escape poverty for some. |

Come on. Don't even try and defend those as legitimate "reasons". What issues regarding our country have gone into that decision? None.
I forget who it was (Palin or McCain) referring to "real America" as places like Northern Wisconsin, Minnesota, etc ... places where backwoods hicks with no education bow down to these scare-tactics and hate-mongering, as well as the ethnic and religious ties because they aren't educated enough to learn things for themselves.
At least they know who they're targeting. |
