"Correctness" of usage is just a matter of what the actual conventions are, not what you think is the "proper" usage. In English, the convention is to call US citizens "Americans," therefore doing so is correct. Language is flexible, deal with it.

Agreed. When all is said and done, it's what we actually get out of him that matters. Only time will tell. All I know is I can't wait for this to be over! This has been the longest presidential race ever! |
