The bush republicans couldn't run a government properly with the white house, senate and house under their control.
Now the people have chosen the democrats in the house and senate (and possibly Obama) to have a go.
I simply cant see the US getting worse under a democrat administration.

Working for a huge corporation myself, could you elaborate more on that?
Alex
Currently massive corporations that make billions are taxed at rate of 35% I believe, Obama will raise it to 39%.
That 4% increase will literally cover the middle class tax reduction (that is everyone earning under 250,000 a year) and will most likely provide a sufficient surplus to do with it what they will. (Probably pay down the enormous national debt).

15 votes to McCain's 6.
ing landslide! :stongue:
Apparently the town has been republican since the 60s.
Gayer post! Here's how meaningless that is:
Dixville Notch voting history:
1992 - Bill Clinton got 3 while GHWBush got 9 votes.
1976 - Jimmy Carter got 6 while Ford got 11.
1960 (general election) Nixon got 9 while JFK got 0.
Seems like every 16 years the winner of the Dixville Notch vote was the loser in the National election.
That last time that happened was in 1992. And 2008 will make it 16 years later from 1992.

Tax reduction to the middle class sounds good and all, but how does it affect the corporation itself and it's employees with the increased tax hikes?
