All I know is that Microsoft better take their time and release Windows 7 when the product is as solid as possible. It would be a public relations catastrophe (after Vista) for MS if they rush it.

Perhaps, but from what I'm reading and what I've observed, this isn't as arduous a task as it was preparing for Vista. I'd be really surprised if we saw this any later than early Q4 '09.. I'm betting on this going RTM for the second week of August, especially if we're seeing RC builds go out before June.

Like I said... I hope they don't it up and feed Apple more fuel. I'm ing sick of Apple's attacks in the commercials they produce. For god's sake.. if you have a superior product, tell us why... not hammer MS instead. They're like what Pepsi was to Coke with their commercials.

So far I haven't had a single problem with Win7, that was isolated to win7. I had a crash due to not installing my intel matrix storage drivers, and I have not been able to install XBMC on the 64bit build I am running, but that is fine. I think I will be downgrading to 32bit, since most of the software i run is 32 anyways.
Although, I have noticed my CPU running a bit hotter than under Vista, and HD videos using a bit more CPU.
