Because everything is task oriented. You highlight and right click text, the font stuffs comes up. Everything in Office 2007 and now Paint and Wordpad, are just like this. I understand the learning curve is massive at first, but only for a small few things. Otherwise everything is easy.

Yes I've been using it for 2 years now on Office 2007. get off my case already. Just because I don't like it doesn't mean I'm any less competent in using apps of this style. It's just NOT my thing.

you should try ashampoo.. it works perfect on the latest build on windows 7.

This is strictly a driver issue. What video card do you have? Have you tried using beta drivers? Or hacked drivers?

It isn't that I am getting on your case. I just don't understand how increased productivity and a more organized, easier to access interface isn't someone's thing. If that isn't your thing, then that is beyond me. To each their own.

That was my reaction to NOD32. Never ceases to amaze me that people still need anti-virus on a home PC.

To be fair, Conficker.C/downadup spread via a vulnerability in windows directly. No need for browsing to a website. Then again, if people installed updates as they should, the vulnerability would have been patched a long time ago.

I haven't run an anti-virus in years. No need to.

CanSecWest Pwn2own. The guy that hacked the Mac said that the MAC is less secure by design, but still safer due to the whole fact that the installed userbase is small.
