I think what you meant to say was "Vista is to XP what ME was to 98."
I'm on the 64bit RC1 right now and absolutely zero complaints whatsoever. All the programs that I needed to run but couldn't before I running beautifully now. This is my first time using a 64 bit OS extensively and I gotta say that the performance is really noticeable. It's all so smooth. |

I've just migrated everything over to Office 2010 TP1 running on Windows 7 RC1. Will let everyone know how it goes but so far, so good.
Also, Outlook finally looks and feels AWESOME. |

how much of a difference do you notice between 32bit RC1 and 64bit RC1? not as much as the huge difference over both XP and Vista?
i've only noticed a few glitches with RC1
* my AVG antivirus doesn't load properly
* i did notice a few minor freezes
* my PeerGuardian2 doesn't seem to load
* i have noticed the graphics around the top right window (where the close buttons are) are a bit blotchy
but overall, the OS is so smooth and seamless, i'm really impressed with the overall product |
