I'm running x32 RC1 and AVG is working flawlessly, what do you find the problem is? Are some components just not loading correctly (or at all)?

There is a common misconception that 64bit is faster than 32bit. This is totally untrue. Technically speaking, 64bit has more overhead than 32bit does. You shouldn't notice any difference in a general sense. The only areas you will see differences is in performance with running a 32bit process on a 32bit vs 64bit OS. Beyond that, there won't be any speed enhancements or losses from being 64 or 32bit. :)

I have been running RC1 for a couple weeks now, and it is fantastic.

Maybe its all in my head but it feels a lot smoother and more responsive.

That's what I thought too, but I saw some tests that a few places have done and there's only like a 4% difference in speed lol

Was worth it for me on the changes made to Outlook alone. Still some issues with load times in the Technical Preview, but on the whole it is ROCK solid and I've (ab)used the absolute bejesus out of it for a couple of weeks now.

Great stuffs!
